Nuer youths around the world needs to stop orchestrating and inciting violence against neighboring communities in South Sudan instead they should be promoting a peaceful coexistence between the neighboring communities.

On April 1, 2025, around 4 PM, an unanticipated attack took place in Biemnom county, Ruweng Administrative Area, the attack was carried out by armed Youths who healed from Mayom county of Unity State.
In response, Abiemnom youths rushed to the area where the attackers were for the purpose of recovering the stollen Goats from the Armed youth of Mayom county.
However, as Abiemnom Youth arrived to address the situation, the armed youths from Mayom County launched a heavy gunfire against the local youths This escalated into a significant clash, resulting in the tragic deaths of four sons of Ruweng Biemnom and injuries 7 others.
The attackers were equipped with heavy weaponry.
We urgently call on the government of RAA, Unity State Authorities, and the national government to take decisive action to prevent further escalation of this conflict.
